The Girls

Well, just got off the phone with the case worker. Seems that Sara Jane has parental rights to who the girls stay with besides the Foster Care that they are currently in. She has a visitation with the girls today and Todd will be calling back to let me know if she says it is ok for us to have them temporarily. If not, then we will not proceed with the next steps. This is in the beginning stages at this point and it could take up to a year to 18 months before she loses those rights. She would also be getting visitations with the girls at our home. Not sure how TJ would take that, but he was all for having all 3 girls live with us. That was amazing to me. Her next court date is August 23rd. We can be there or not. It's in the afternoon so I would have to take time off and Melanie is off those days. Maybe TJ will go instead of me. I was looking forward to having them, but looks like that may be off for a while. If it is meant to be, then it will be....
