Gift from my Husband

I got the most wonderful gift from my husband yesterday. In the lost and found at his work, someone was going to throw out (what they do after a certain period of time goes by and no one claims it) a beautiful pair of jade earrings and a pair of diamond earrings. To go along with that, there was a pendant and all it needs is a necklace to hang around my neck, also diamonds. Very beautiful setting too. I lost one of the jade ones this morning by the time we had finished breakfast and were on the way to take me to work, and after he dropped me off, he went back by our regular restaurant and found my earring. I thought that was very kind of him. I was very pleased he had located it, since it was the first day wearing them and all. I'm going to use my stoppers tomorrow with the diamond ones. Don't want to take a chance on losing anything else he gets me, especially something of that nature. I love diamonds, most girls do. I am no exception. There is one very small stone missing from the pendant that he suggested we get replaced.

Got some hot tamales today. I do not like them. I did not buy them. They were a gift to all from Chad in Career Services. I think I shall give them to Teresa. She likes sour things. I don't like sour things. Especially candy, that is just wrong, but she disagrees with me.

I am not looking forward to another freakin hot night like last night again! My poor Taty was soooo hot, not to mention we weren't far from it either. TJ is picking me up at Gateway and we are going to JJ North's for dinner because Tatyana begins her swim lessons tonight. He is bringing the van because it has AC and he must have changed his mind about the AC bothering him, making him feel ill and it bothering his contacts. He's driving it from lunch at home back to work and then to get me, so he must have changed his feelings. Doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I'm glad he uses it, that's what it's for! When it is this blistering hot out, every one should be comfortable rather than sick with the heat.

Laurel is gone all this week. Kat just called and had a family emergency and is gone for the day. She is flying out of town to Sacramento to see her daughter in the Emergency Room and then fly back. She will be back on Wednesday. Not fun at all! She hasn't missed any time though. Plus, most importantly, it's an emergency. I hope her daughter will be ok.

Jessica isn't at work today. I hate that. She makes my day go by so much quicker. I don't know where she is. She used to work at FMU in Florida and she accidentally emailed me once and we've been in contact ever since. I just love her, she is such a hoot! I have a pal in NY and a pal in ME. Makes me feel cool some how.

What is up with Melissa?? I am almost tired of looking at your new car. Blog something damn it!! I mean that in the nicest way possible, really! :)

Andrew stood me up on Saturday. That irritated me so I had to call and apologize for being short and or rude with him. He didn't answer and I didn't think he would. So, I left a very nice message telling him that I hope everything works out for him and Andy, to tell Heather I said hi and to take care and I hope he gets a job and goes back to school and my sincerest apologies.
