Sherb
My buddy and Pal Sherry (Sherb is what I call her, sometimes Shaberta) is still alive! She didn't make it to Tatyana's party and I haven't spoken to her since. I was going to one Saturday but she wasn't in the mood to have visitors, so I haven't spoken to her since then. Seems her neighbors had a pot bust. Up in their trees of all places to grow weed! There were lots of plants I guess, but they are all gone now! She got a new swing set so I think Tatyana and I are going to go visit her on Saturday after my walk. Then, I can sit back, relax and enjoy the view from her back yard. Especially since it's only supposed to be 70's this weekend. I don't have anything else going on for sure. I'm going to clean on Sunday as usual. Next weekend is Dillon's birthday party, her cousin. It will be held at Blue Lake Park and according to Sherry, they have a new water theme park going on there for kids. It's circular with water spouting up and then there are these tall poles that hold buckets, so when the buckets get full, it dumps on you if you are standing under it. Sounds like fun to me! Dillon's theme is Hot Wheels. Last year it was a most cool party. I can hardly wait for this year with the new water area there.
Last night I was going to see if Taty's friend was available for Taty to play with but they have swim lessons on opposite nights during the week. So, I went across the street to Breanna's house to let her know about Bunco and she already had it on the calendar and is so excited to play! Dillon, her little brother was there and wanted to know if Taty could stay and play video games on the TV, so I asked her and she agreed. Just as I had gotten my clothes changed and was about to go out and begin my walk, mom calls. She needs to know if I can go to grandpa's and pick her up from delivering Uncle Harld's car to him at grandpa's house and give her a ride home? So, I said ok, then walked back up to Breanna's house to make sure she knew where I was and what I was doing rather than walking and how much longer I would be. So, I left and beat mom there by 25 minutes! She is so slow with everything I swear! I got her home and me back home by quarter to 8, so I was quite late getting started on my walk. I picked Taty up at almost 8:30 and I only made 4 laps instead of my usual 5. I was tired and because of the ugly heat haven't been walking every single night like usual. Plus, Monday began swim lessons, starting at 6:30 to 7 and then home for bath. By 7:30 we are done and it's about bed time. It's hard for me to walk after that, because I get wound up and can't go right to sleep. TJ doesn't work tonight, but she has swim lessons again tonight. I think I'll bring my Stephen King book with me and read some more. Friday that will be the extent of my work is reading. I'll get up and walk around occaisonally so I don't put my butt to sleep or anything. TJ works swing again tomorrow night, and perhaps we'll see who is available to play so I can walk a bit more. I walked today with Teresa at lunch, but it isn't brisk by any means.
I've worn a dress 3 days in a row this week! First time ever I think!
