Another Day
Most interesting about Jen. I hope you are ok out there. I am worried because you haven't blogged or responded yet. I hope you didn't do something crazy like kill them all and let God sort them out. That would not be good at all. Perhaps you are just busy is all, and I hope that is the case.
I see Kelly is a grandmom again. How cool is that?! I am happy for her, she is probably an awesome grandma.
I hate being bored. I wonder what Melissa is doing right about now? Probably getting ready for work. I hope Financial Aid has something for me to do today. I wonder if Laurel will be here today. I didn't have an 8:00 person yesterday. Laurel wasn't here either.
I did get to walk a couple of laps last night after dinner and before taking Taty to swim lessons. She is doing much better in the water and I am hoping by the end of summer, she will be able to swim. I exchanged phone numbers with Susan, who is Tatyana's swim buddy, Robert, it's his mom. We sit and chat for the half hour while they are swimming and time seems to just fly by. She is from South Carolina which reminds me of Melissa's sister. She has the cutest accent when she talks. She is very calm, which a lot of people are from back East. Different upbringing and life style altogether. I am glad we have met and taken the time to get to know each other. Her son Robert is cute too. He is younger than Tatyana, but they play well together. In their apartments, there is a swim pool, and that is why we exchanged numbers.
Talked to Bruce for 20 minutes last night while I was walking. He still hasn't gotten his prescription via mail from CA yet. I hope he gets it today. Someone in their house took a whole bottle of pills that were his. When he came here he had 2 months worth and it's been about a month and he is out. I am glad he is staying here instead of going back to CA and trying to find work. His wife and family are doing fine so far there. He is still talking with her and that is good. We have walked together at Glendoveer and he enjoyed it. He is also a golfer too, and he was interested in watching as we walked. It is good to spend time with him again. I have missed him over the years. He is just like my brother. I relate with him and communicate with him very well. I hope he can make it through living with his mom and Uncle Pete. They can be obnoxious at times, and more often than not, they are obnoxious. They both speak loudly, and sleep a lot. Uncle Pete has no manners, or if he does he doesn't use them. They are demanding, volunteer your services without talking to you first about it. And Uncle Pete is lazy. But, Bruce seems to have adjusted, he does what my grandpa did with my grandma for years, tunes it out. On Saturday after breakfast with the girls, we are going to meet and walk again at the golf course. Heather's party starts at 1:20 at Blue Lake and we'll eat lunch there. It will be weird spending time with TJ on a Saturday. Sunday is supposed to be 90 and Monday as well, but we'll have to wait and see how much truth there is to that when it gets here. It's Oregon and can change in a moments notice, and usually to rain.
TJ made nachos last night, it was great! Tonight he works swing shift, so Taty and I will probably have tuna and noodles and then we have to go to Big Lots to get Heather's present. We might watch a movie tonight, who knows. Breanna came over last night at 8:00 with Harley her dog, but I was already indisposed and Taty was in the bath tub, so I didn't get to see her. She is the neighborhood girl who I take to Bunco with me. Very sweet girl. I hope I can get my walk in tonight even with having Tatyana. Maybe after shopping and all that, we will go to the park and she can ride her bike and I can walk. TJ took her to the park yesterday and they had a picnic lunch and then she played. Ran into a girl she played with at the park at swim lessons last night. That was cool. We have a lot of awesome parks around Gresham.
