What a great day~
I'm in an unusually great mood today. Then, I read Jen's blog. That made me sad. I feel bad Jen, but I really am leary of posting another post in your blog with Eric and his assertiveness. I'd rather not go through that again. It feels like he might bite. But, truly, I am sorry that you are lonely. I do hope that someone new and exciting comes into your life, and you get over Brian and learn to forgive him, so that you can move on. It is much easier said than done, is true, but it is something that isn't going away and only you can fix. I know you can do it. Go Jen!! Don't forget, I'm your number one fan, despite Eric! LOL!
I have to work this Saturday. Then, I have to do the laundry so I can take my new friend to church with me on Sunday. She has graciously accepted my invitation and her son will be in Tatyana's class. They swim together twice a week, and she has just moved her recently from South Carolina. So, Sunday at 9:30 we will be going to church together and I'm excited!
We got our taxes back yesterday! Over $200 and it couldn't have come at a better time when we really needed it! I'm am very excited about it, because most usually we don't get any taxes back. It all goes to TJ's back child support and that sucks, but not this year!
Another good thing happened. We went to look at a house yesterday. It is across the street from us, and rent is $1,000. Our current landlord is renting it, and so I made an appointment this evening to view the inside of it. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, garage, small yard, 2 levels, fire place. Still same school district for Tatyana, which is great. The only thing I didn't care for was that there are no paved side walks for me to walk along at night when I do my walk. I will just have to walk around the neighborhood on the side of the street and walk a long block as I do now.
On Thursday night, we are scheduled to go to Vancouver and visit with mortgageyes.com people and see about buying a house, and do some paper work to see what we are qualified for. I have a feeling it will be renting the house first before buying comes into the picture. I really liked the house, but we have to see if we fit in there first, which would be up stairs. Still no dog, it's too small and it's a fairly new house. We will see by this evening.
