Almost Friday
I'm so excited! It's almost Friday and I get to leave early tomorrow. TJ works late tonight so I'm taking Taty with me to the park to feed the squirrels and walk. The weather is supposed to be outstanding. Mom is going to be gone to retreat, so Taty will be with me all weekend, including Sunday for laundry day. Could be challenging, but we'll see. Weather is gorgeous today. I actually have work to do, which makes it even better!! I hate to be bored and it always seems that by the time Laurel gets here, I've run out of things to do. I can't talk to anyone, and i can't do nothing either, no sighing, no personal calls (which is logical), no emails, no internet. What a splendid work environment! Melissa is here today (Mickey's) boss not Melissa Yard. She is such a pleasant lady.
Spoke with Christina yesterday. She is coming back but to live with her dad. I'm glad, she will be much closer and i'll get to see her and Heather very soon, which makes me even happier. We can drive up and get her if necessary. Maybe she will have her new car with her, so she can drive to see us instead? Who knows, but the good thing is she is doing well, her husband is too and she will be close again. I sure miss her alot, more than I thought I would. Kind of weird, but we got very close before she moved away unexpectedly.
My legs are very sore today, I twisted my ankle walking out of the house yesterday morning and it is sore too. I will live and it won't stop me from walking with my girl tonight. They don't allow any pets there at the golf course, but I'm bringing the nuts for Tatyana to feed the squirrels as we walk together. I've not done this with her before, so this should be interesting. Blaine is recovering from surgery on his finger, so my walking buddy won't be walking with me for a week or two yet. He is on 6 week leave from work, and still in a lot of pain. Tempie is taking care of her man she tells me, and I believe her. Great people, I just love them too.
Donna's picnic is this Sunday, don't know if I'm going or not. It's such a drive and I don't want to be lost. I need to because it could be the last time I see her dad, and that is the whole reason why we are going to make him smile. Tatyana wants to go for sure. I want to go early and leave early, so we probably will go and leave food and come home early. Last time, we were there for 3 hours before the food was cooked, liked to think I was going to starve to death, yes, me!!!
I got pictures from Jessica earlier last weekend, with her husband. They are cute, and she is going through some serious stomach issues right now. At the Dr. now and they are doing some funky test on her the 29th, sticking a tube in her esophagus (sp?) to see if her stomach needs repairing, and if it does, they will do it then. She seems to have bleeding ulsers, not good.
Congratulations to Eric and Erin for becoming aunt and uncle, possibly for the first time? Twins they say, and they haven't stated the names as of yet. How exciting, as long as it isn't me! One is bad enough, and I told TJ today we should have had a boy, so that the balance would be there, daddy's girl, momma's boy. I told him we could take a needle and poke his testicles and do an injection to get me pregnant and the "boys" got cranky with me at the sound of a needle poking them. I laughed at him, I thought it was funny and i told him it is possible, see!?
