I guess the cat is out of the bag for Sireina. I am happy for her, but sad she is leaving.
I am ready to leave for the day, it's not been such a great week, and next week will be even worse. Melanie is going to leave from Tuesday forward. It's start week, it will suck. Laurel has not been in the world's greatest mood.
She found out I went on a job interview and I'm not sure of her reaction. She didn't say anything to me, she just asked Melanie point blank if I was on a job interview. She froze and said she couldn't answer that. Then, I was talking to Laurel and she makes a point to tell me that if anyone wants to better themselves, she is all for that. I said I know, you told me that 3 days ago. I walked out of the office. I wasn't hiding it from her, but I wasn't in there in her face either, like, Guess what boss, I'm going to a JOB interview!~!!!!
Crystal started the cycle this week, Christina followed, and I'm sure I'm next.
We are taking mom to dinner tonight at a cool new truck stop we discovered in Troutdale. I'm looking forward to it. Haven't had dinner with her in some time. She is also looking forward to it.
I often wonder if Jennifer reads my blog, since she closed hers out? Not the Jen in Maine, and thanks for the "happy birthday". I appreciated it. Had a splendid time too. Got lots of goodies.
I work tomorrow and am taking Taty with me. Laurel is working tomorrow too, the only one. She loves Taty though, I just hope there is enough to keep her entertained with. I'm drained already and I've not even finished the day out. I got to work super early today, so I walked for 20 minutes around downtown just looking, gazing at the beauty of it all. It felt good to walk, and then I walked again at lunch time. It's hard to walk after work, unless we eat quickly and then go, Taty and I. She finally enjoys walking with me, it's cute. I enjoy the time spent with her.
She got in trouble Monday at school. Got that taken care of. I hope she doesn't do that again. Kids are kids though. She is going to a birthday party with one of her friends from her other school, she says she misses them all. Isn't that sweet? That could be part of the problem, one of the sources.
My best friend Lisa won in court this week with her step daughter, Thank God! That was good news.
I got great gifts from people I work with for my birthday. I've used everything except the purse, which is coming up next. Saturday is shot for time to do anything, but Sunday, I'll have to clean like mad. Do laundry, I have ironing to do, cleaning the bathroom from top to bottom and change Taty's sheets on her bed. I need to vacuum and sweep because TJ helped out a little bit on his one day off. Dishes need to be put away, and I need to take his suit to the cleaners. I have 3 weeks worth of cans to turn in, but I don't see that happening this weekend. I could almost stress myself out. Plus, the fun part is the cramps are starting. Lovely.
